Meet the team who lead our operations!
Fire Chief Greg Atkinson
Chief Atkinson has been with Devine Fire Rescue for just over two years but brings twenty years of emergency service experience to Devine. Chief Atkinson hails from Indiana and after leaving the US Army as a communication specialist became a police officer and firefighter. Chief Atkinson came to Devine due to his wife Nakita being stationed in San Antonio. Chief Atkinson brings to Devine Fire Rescue a high drive to exceed industry standards which is evident in the high moral seen in those serving with him in the department.
Assistant Chief Jessica Martinez
Assistant Chief Martinez joins us with 15 years of experience in emergency services. She is a firefighter/paramedic and has served in roles to include field training officer, instructor, driver operator, and honor guard. Assistant Chief Martinez is certified in BLS/ALS/PALS, hazardous materials, critical care, as well as crisis intervention. She has a degree from Galveston College and helped roll out Bexar County 2 EMS. Assistant Chief Martinez is excited to be joining Devine Volunteer Fire and Rescue in pushing forward in continuing the best care in Medina County.
Captain Scott DeLucia
Capt DeLucia has been with Devine Volunteer Fire & Rescue since 2021. Capt DeLucia is originally from Florida and retired from the US Army Veterinary Corps after 23 years of service. He has settled down in Medina County and has lived in Devine ever since. Capt DeLucia brings an extensive amount of medical expertise and leadership experience to our department. Capt DeLucia has received certifications for Firefighter I and II, Wildland Firefighter and his Emergency Medical Technician Basic certification. He is currently enrolled in a paramedic program and will be bringing ALS capabilities to our department upon graduation. His goal is simple; continue the outstanding fire and rescue support along with emergency medical services to the communitites our department serves.
Lieutenant Wes Williams
Lt Williams has been volunteering with the department since 2023. Lt Williams has an extensive background in Fire, EMS, and law enforcement. Lt Williams brings leadership to the department and is a staple in the development of our junior firefighters.
Lieutenant Bryan Hill
Lt Bryan Hill is a native of Uvalde, TX. He grew up in Leakey and graduated from Leakey High School in 2008. Upon graduation, Lt Hill enlisted in the United States Marine Corps as an Assault Amphibious Vehicle Crewman. After leaving the Marine Corps, he settled in Medina County at the end of 2020 and joined Devine Volunteer Fire & Rescue in 2021. FF Hill's goal is to provide the highest level of fire protection to the great citizens of Devine and to be a pillar to this great community.
Lieutenant Raquel Seaton
Lt Seaton has been volunteering with the department since 2018.
