    Fire Chief Jessica Martinez

    Chief Martinez joins us with 15 years of experience in emergency services. She is a firefighter/paramedic and has served in roles to include field training officer, instructor, driver operator, and honor guard. Interim Chief Martinez is certified in BLS/ALS/PALS, hazardous materials, critical care, as well as crisis intervention. She has a degree from Galveston College and helped roll out Bexar County 2 EMS. Interim Chief Martinez is excited to be part of Devine Volunteer Fire and Rescue in pushing forward in continuing the best care in Medina County.

    Assistant Fire Chief DeLucia

    Assistant Chief DeLucia has been with Devine Volunteer Fire & Rescue since 2021. Assistant Chief DeLucia is originally from Florida and retired from the US Army Veterinary Corps after 23 years of service. He has settled down in Medina County and has lived in Devine ever since. Interim Assistant Chief DeLucia brings an extensive amount of medical expertise and leadership experience to our department. Interim Assistant Chief DeLucia has received certifications for Firefighter I and II, Wildland Firefighter and his Emergency Medical Technician Basic certification. He is currently enrolled in a paramedic program and will be bringing ALS capabilities to our department upon graduation. His goal is simple; continue the outstanding fire and rescue support along with emergency medical services to the communitites our department serves.

    Captain Bryan Hill

    Capt Bryan Hill is a native of Uvalde, TX. He grew up in Leakey and graduated from Leakey High School in 2008. Upon graduation, Capt Hill enlisted in the United States Marine Corps as an Assault Amphibious Vehicle Crewman. After leaving the Marine Corps, he settled in Medina County at the end of 2020 and joined Devine Volunteer Fire & Rescue in 2021. FF Hill's goal is to provide the highest level of fire protection to the great citizens of Devine and to be a pillar to this great community.

    Lieutenant Raquel Seaton

    Lt Seaton has been volunteering with the department since 2018.
